Europe’s new cool capital, Lisbon is still reasonably priced and has an exploding vegan scene. This tour will be solely led by Wendy Werneth, The Nomadic Vegan. Wendy has been to over 110 countries, but has made Lisbon, Portugal her adopted home city, so it must be something special. In addition to a cooking class where you’ll learn to make some veganized Portuguese specialties, there will be a few day trips out of the city. If you enjoy shopping, you’ll have fun seeing all the products made from eco-friendly cork, and the city has both a vegan clothing shop and a vegan shoe store. Everyone in our 2018 group loved the hotel we stayed in, so we’ve chosen the same one for 2019.
